Welcome to the DAIDS Protocol Registration System (DPRS) enrollment and training page.
DAIDS Protocol Registration System (DPRS)
The DAIDS Protocol Registration System (DPRS) is an internet-based system for DAIDS Clinical Research Sites (CRS) to submit Protocol Registration documents to the DAIDS Protocol Registration Office (PRO). The DPRS offer a more efficient and timely registration process, and creates a centralized location for accessing Protocol Registration information for tracking and reporting purposes.
Enrollment
After May 1, 2010 the DPRS will be the only method for submitting Protocol Registration documents to the DAIDS PRO. There are 3 simple steps for enrollment into the DPRS:
Training
The DPRS is intended for Clinical Research Site staff who are participating in DAIDS-sponsored and/or supported clinical trials and will be involved in submitting, reviewing, or tracking Protocol Registration documents. Persons not directly involved in submitting, reviewing, or tracking protocol registration documents are encouraged to attend training sessions with those who will have greater involvement with the DPRS.
To complete the enrollment process and gain access to the system, DPRS training is required. To fulfill this requirement there are two options: attend webcast training or attend training with a colleague.
Webcast Training
The DPRS Training Team is offering a series of regularly scheduled live webcast training sessions for all DAIDS-sponsored Clinical Research Site staff. Each session will be approximately 90 minutes and must be completed before access to the DPRS system is provided.
To sign-up for a DPRS webcast training session, you must first enroll by clicking on "Enrollment" at the top of the page. After you have completed and submitted the required information you will be directed to schedule a training session date. Should you need to reschedule, simply return to the "Schedule Training" page and select a new session.
Please note that the webcast format is specifically designed to offer the flexibility and accessibility of a Web-based training with the interactive learning experienced by participants in a live workshop.
You will need the following to attend the online training:
- Telephone
- Broadband Internet Connection
- Session specific materials available on the " Resources"Page
Training with a Colleague
If a colleague at your site has already attended the webcast training, you may attend training with that DPRS authorized trainer. Please note that a minimum of one person from each site must attend the webcast training. Once an individual at a site is trained, the trained individual is encouraged to train other site staff members as needed. The authorized trainer will then provide notification of such training to the DPRS Team. After attending DPRS training with a colleague, please ensure that you or your trainer contact the DPRS Team for confirmation of your training.
Check Enrollment Status
After you have initiated the enrollment process for the DPRS, you may view the status of your enrollment and training information by clicking "View Site Data" in the menu at the top of this page, and select your site number. You will also be able to view the enrollment and training status of other persons associated with your site.
Direct all questions to the DPRS Team.
